Raised on comics, video games, scifi and horror, Chrissy Lynn donned her first cosplay as Catwoman in 2010, and 30+ costumes later she's never felt more empowered as a woman and creator than when she's behind the mask! Having dealt with her own shape and size issues living with a deteriorating hip/leg disease known as Leg Perthese Syndrome, Chrissy vowed not to to let her condition stop her from doing what she loves and encourages all people from any shape, size, color, race or even gender to participate in Cosplay. She's used her talents as an artist and producer to help fund raise for many non-profit charity organizations and events.
Since her first appearance on the All Shapes and Sizes panel at Comicon in 2013, Chrissy has spoken several times on the subject of cosplaying with disabilities and gender bent cosplay during the Body Confidence and Positivity in Cosplay panel originally created by cosplayer, Ivy Doomkitty. Originally from North Carolina, Dellany attended New York City prestigious conservatory American Musical Dramatic Academy; her debut on Broadway was with TheatreWorks USA (winner of 2001 Jonathan Larson Performing Arts Foundation Award) right before embarking on the national tour. She worked on independent films in N.C., co-starred in award winning Bailey and did featured/stand in work for Molly Shannon in Talledega Nights. Now residing in Los Angeles and having grown weary of being typecast, Dellany has expanded her skills & knowledge so that she can change how all minorities are seen in Film/TV/Media.
Dellany’s first produced web series was the award winning comedy 2 Hopeful Spinsters with Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs, Thelma & Louise, Kill Bill) and Zack Stentz (screenwriter Thor, X-Men First Class, Top Gun 2). She won an award as a first time director for 48HFF short film Good Things Come In Small Packages and directed all girl band Frantic Ginger's hit music video Suicide Note. She is currently in pre-production for several new original series under the tent of her new production company. Every one of her projects and stories center around characters of all shapes, sizes, backgrounds & ethnicities as the leads that are normally reserved for a Hollywood prototype. San Jose, California native, Gloria Shuri Henry began her online career as a YouTube comedian best known for her parody makeup tutorials. After a number of her Glowpinkstah channel videos went viral in 2009, she gave Sandra Bullock a Chola makeover on Lopez Tonight and appeared on One Tree Hill. She's also had a part written for her in an indie film called “Along The Roadside” based on her most known character on her channel called Baby Smiley.
In an effort to inspire her 327,000+ strong subscriber base, Gloria regularly shares lifestyle videos based on her own life experiences and created The Beauty Adjustment Collaboration in 2013 to challenge society's idea of what's beautiful and show that beauty truly lies in the eye of the beholder.
